Back to Build Dinner - October 10th  6pm - 8pm
Save the Date! This is a great opportunity to discuss this year's game with other teams. Head Referee Paul Merhkam and FIRST Tech Challenge Affiliate Partner Mike Kaurich will be there to answer any questions your teams have. Food will be provided at cost to teams. Coaches and Team Leaders only; maximum five people per team (this is per team and not per school/organization). Team Leaders are students in leadership roles on your team.

FTC Rookie and New Member Workshop - October 14th 9am - 12pm
October 14th is the next set of workshops.  This session will cover all the necessities to get teams’ robots up and running, including an overview of the FTC control system, phone connections, and programming.  We will go over the differences between the Modern Robotics system and the new REV expansion hub, how to connect driver stations and robot controllers and create your robot configuration file. We will also provide tips, tricks and troubleshooting. techniques. In addition, we’ll go over opModes and block programming, so teams will be able to write a teleop program, a simple autonomous program, and learn some advanced block programming concepts. By the end of the session, teams will have everything they need to connect, configure and program their robots. Attendees should bring a laptop (preferably), Chromebook, or tablet with our presentation (available on our website) downloaded on it to follow along.
